We use these plugs in multiple aircraft and it has solved fouling issues when taxing without proper leaning.

Spark plugs

A lot of us have been running the very popular and primitive UREM40E and UREM38E spark plugs in our 4-cylinder Continentals and Lycomings.

I suggest you see if your engine is OKd to run the Tempest UREM37BY.

You can easily find them at Mcfarlaneaviation.com,Chiefaircraft.com, Skygeek.com,
etc.

The spark plug has the 1/2“ thread reach, and is 5/8”-24 for the harness.

It’s a wonderful plug in that has a projected tip which runs cleaner.

They foul less. And they are gonna be easier to clean and gap when the time comes.

Did a test by putting them in an O-320 and a C-90 in the 4 lower spark plug positions, and was impressed with the results.

The heat range seems perfect.

And the engine starts better and runs better.

A no-brainer IMHO.
